Conducted by David Law, the Queensland Wind Orchestra returns home to The Old Museum Concert Hall with a spectacular concert program.

This concert will open with Olivia Kieffer's breathtaking, and entirely unique piece: ...and Then The Universe Exploded. We'll continue on a lyrical journey through Philip Sparke's Reflections on an Old Japanese Folk Song, Joaquin Rodrigo's major and vastly underperformed Per la Flor del Lliri Blau, and Satoshi Yagisawa's Machu PiccuCity in the Sky.

Excitingly, we will be joined by one of Australia's leading Saxophone players, Andrew Ball, to perform John Mackey's sublime and ground-breaking Concerto for Soprano Sax and Wind Ensemble.
