Something Blue – Proudly supporting beyondblue

In the Queensland Wind Orchestra's final concert of the year – Something Blue – QWO plays well loved pieces: Frank Tichelli's Blue Shades, John Adams' A Short Ride in a Fast Machine, John Williams' Superman March, as well as some lesser known works, including David Gillingham's Sails of Time – Celebrating the Rich History of Sydney, Australia, James Barnes' Autumn Soliloquy, Paul Creston's KalevalaFantasy on Finnish Folksongs, and Bert Appermont's Noah's Ark.

Something Blue ties up the Queensland Wind Orchestra's wedding year: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue. They've received rave reviews about the concerts which has featured standout performances throughout the year. This is your last chance to see the 2014 Australian National Band Champions do what they do best!

To celebrate the final concert, QWO will be supporting beyondblue.

beyondblue Hope. Recovery. Resilience.
